Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory based in San Francisco, with retail shops and cafes across Japan, a pop-up in Taiwan and the most recent debut in Las Vegas.

Located inside the Venetian Resort, the space is divided into three zones: retail, coffee counter (with takeaway) and seating space for the customers. The interior takes inspiration from Vegas’ desert, intending to be a refined oasis – a place to be refreshed.

On entering, the focal point is a locally sourced, natural Nevada stone sampling table with storage underneath; a low-hanging circular light floats above the island, almost like a moon -  evoking the feeling of a desert.

Timber moulding cover the walls (which is an over-used, traditional material used in Las Vegas), however we re-purposed and refined its application to represent a dune-like texture.

Brushed copper retail shelves glow a soft pale pink. Corian, representing a sand-like colour, is used for the counter-top, overhead menu and bespoke communal table - which comfortably seats 10 people.
